LE-AL was originally formed in 1933 and traded as a furniture retailer. It was in the late 1950’s that this family owned business saw an opportunity to manufacture Antique Reproduction office furniture. The business grew steadily through the latter part of the century building a world-wide reputation as one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of reproduction furniture. All LE-AL products are manufactured here in the UK at our Stockport factory just outside Manchester. Skilled Workforce The wood veneering manufacturing process demands highly skilled tradesmen with decades of experience in veneering, inlaying, cabinet making and polishing. In addition to wood veneering LE-AL is unique in that we also manufacture, in house, all our own upholstered seating products. LE-AL combines all these traditional skills with continued investment in state of the art plant, machinery and IT to ensure that we produce the best possible quality products within realistic lead times. Our lead time from order to completion has never exceeded 6 weeks.
